hey guys i want to ask if any of you know what the best way to insul;ate ur car from this damn caker cold up here, and does cold really damage subs and amps? cause damn my trunk gets really cold.... :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

There's not much you can do about it. Just make sure you keep your system turned down in the cold, or you might damage the speakers. Also make sure your door speakers have a good moisture barrier, because if you get any moisture into the voicecoil, and then it freezes, you can kill the speakers. I lost a PG elite 5 midrange this way.

You can crank it, just give the system a few minutes to get moving.... i.e. don't pound the bass right after you started your car in -40 ;)

Unfortunately a sub box also works kinda like a refrigerator. The air inside of it will stay freezing cold long after your car has warmed up.

yeah i realized that the other day i took out my subs to rewire them and my box was frozen...lol
