Alarm install tips?

Post by fuzzysnuggleduck »

So, I'm getting this Viper 800ESP alarm system from Tom. Seems "full featured" and all.

I was wondering if there are any general or specific install tips you guys might have for me from your own experience doing alarm installs?

As some of you know, it's for a 1991 4Runner (two thread in this pseudo-empty forum, woo!) and everything else so far with this vehicle has been pretty straight forward so I'm hoping the same with this install in terms of working in the dash and with the electronics.

So is there really anything useful that can be said about this or do I just have read the install manual and tackle each small step along the way since each install can be different or have different factors?

I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.
