The '57 Chevy I sold in 2007

1957 Chevy BelAir. It has a ZZ-430 GM Performance parts crate motor, a Richmond 6-speed manual trans. A 9-inch Ford rear with 3.70:1 ratio TSD. 12" disc brakes Wilwood 4 piston calipers and a master power booster. Wheels are American Racing Torq-Thrust II's 17" X 7" front and 18" X 10" rear with 205/50 front and 295/35 rear BFG Comp T/A's.

That thing is just sick. Sick, sick, sick! Bad ass man. Too bad she's gone. I hope the sale wasn't forced by circumstances.

That´s a real beauty! 8) My friend had a similar custom built one he sold for 40000Euros in 2007. Was white orange with a 454 in it! That thing was faaaast! 8) Could it be that u sold it thru the bay?

I put it on Autotrader.com and it sold in less than a week. I guess I didn't ask enough for it. :oops: It is now in or around Portland, OR.
The reasons I sold it:
1) Wanted a new toy. Not enough room for more toys in my garage.
2) When my son was younger (and it was still cool to hang-out with dad), we would take it to shows together and he really seemed to enjoy it. Then he became a teenager and we rarely took the car out for a drive much less to a show.

Very nice ! When I lived at home my neighbors had a 55 Belair, all original low miles. It was literally their grannies car and she only drove it on Sundays. Stick shift was on the column, the car sat in their garage and they only took it out 3-4 times a summer. 100% original, no rust, maybe 10,000 miles. They sold it to somebody about 15 years ago, probably not for much.
