Snagged my first prime lens today.

Post by mr tibbs »

I gots an old school Pentax 50mm f/2 lens today. It's fully manual, but for $35 I had to give it a try. If I like it that much I'll save up to get the newer model that is fully auto. I haven't really got a chance to play with it yet. I picked it up on the way to my mother in laws house tonight. I played around with it there a little, but didn't really get a good feel for it. Here is the only pick that was worth a damn I took tonight.

yoda says "only true way manual is".

Practice, practice. Try different aperture settings with a brick wall and you'll see where it's best, too ;)
