Why'd you take a picture of your weiner ? PS, it looks infected... you should probably get that checked out. :P

Great pics , I do sometimes miss Vancouver. Never made it up Grouse mountain, have to remember that's the edge of wilderness and forget there's grizzlies up there. My room looked out towards North Van so I could see the mountains every morning before I left for work. The scenary in that town is stunning.

It's $30 to go up, $5 to go down.

We'll just have to find an American friendly hike (electric mobility scooter accessible) somewhere.

My scooter better have a cooler big enough for a 6 pack too!!!!!

And why does it have to be an "American friendly" trail...........? In some countries, having alittle extra around the wasteline is a sign of wealth.......

The bears were on top of grouse mountain, but (un?)fortunately they were only tame and caged. Then again the cage was pretty flimsy, so the smell of yankee hotdog sweat may be just enough to set them into a bloodthirsty rampage

Pretty darn beautiful place there Tom. I got to carry the torch in 02' through the lovely landscape of Highland park Mi. One of the top five coolest things I have had the opportunity to do.

Wow you actually got to carry it? Luckyyy!

I remembered watching the torch make its final run into the city as a kid back in the Calgary '88 games. It made such a strong impression on me. I wanted to see it in Vancouver as well, but unfortunately I had to work until 3am the night before it came in, so I had to send Wendy alone to take pics, so that I could live vicariously through them

Oh well, it was still extremely fun to just be a casual observer. Didn't even go to any venues or games, but just being a part of the buzz in the city is amazing!
