You should go back to those areas now and take some pics. Old burn sites are just wierd and freaky looking. 4-5 yrs ago when I was racing mnt bikes we had a race that went though a burned out section of forest from 2 months earlier. There were some very faint signs of green but otherwise it was like riding my bike through sleepy hollow... The burned out trees and dull grey colors made if feel like a lunor landscape, it was strange.....

Take some bags for the dust if you do....
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.
