New lens and camping trip photos

Post by mr tibbs »

First I got my new lens back!! I bought a new Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 from B&H a few weeks ago. After playing with it for a few days I could tell it was just not right. Turns out after some real world tests the lens had back focus issues. After one phone call to B&H they sent me a prepaid return address label and before I knew it I had a new lens! (Much thanks to B&H for a kick ass return policy and great customer service) So, I tested out the new lens and all seem so be well! Here is a sample pic from Saturday at work:

Not too shabby!!

So, to celebrate my new lens (OK, I just wanted to get out on a weekend for once) I went camping with my family! We had a great time and I was the only one to catch a fish! Here are a few pics all with the new lens:

nice set! Can you bring out the angler in the last of the B&Ws (with the sun behind the trees)?
