SHARP! Damn! Do you shoot everything with a tripod?

thanks :)

The only one of those with a tripod is #12. Monopod on.... 2, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18. Sharpening - there's a massive trick involved and it's pretty simple. Upscale to 200%, sharpen more than usual, downscale, hey presto.
Oh, and all my lenses are now micro-adjusted using liveview vs AF and checked and that makes a huge difference.

That's crazy... you would think that you would lose a ton of detail in scaling. I guess those algorithms have gotten a lot better these days!

you lose minimally, especially as you then sharpen harder than usual (I use 0.5 - 0.7 normally and 1 if I have upscaled) and then the downscaling really helps. Works well with touching up, too....

As always, great pics and sharp as hell! Are you still using the K5? I have been trying to talk the wife into letting me get one. lol

Thanks! Still using the K5, just sold the 24-70 as I simply wasn't using it after getting the 17-50. I basically took all of these with three lenses (!!). Scary thought; LBA is not necessary ;)
