so seeing that this forum has been around for quite some time... I am wondering if aamp is going to highly compensate stipud and use this, or start their own forum... which of course we couldn't betray the guy that started this and go to yours...

Hmmm... well, I have never asked for any compensation, nor do I plan to shut this forum down. If they want to start their own, that is fine, but this one will stay as-is. I haven't heard any hints of running a forum from them though, so who knows?

You guys can be rest assured that this place will remain, regardless of what the future holds.

I do actually...

But the site is cheap enough to run that it's no burden on my wallet. I run a bunch of other sites through the same hosting package as well. I'm not looking to turn a profit, I just like hanging out with my friends :P

I think if Soundstream or PPI had forums, they would be doing better. I like both companies (at least their old products) and the more people chat about the old products the more people consider the new products.

I say we petition for PG to have a forum link to here on the website. It has worked really well for the companies that we host their support forums on SSA. Makes a big difference, and can cut down a great deal on anything that is reoccurring, or has happened at some point before.

hmm... guess that means we can expect more and more new folks (says the relatively new guy) to hit the phorum.

that should broaden our ability to track the good and bad of the new gear... Anyone else think we should have a phorum dedicated specifically to "Gear Problems"? maybe broken out by series?

just a thought... but based on how little we hear about Ryval stuff going bad I think it would be an interesting litmus test.

Its a pretty small link, I doubt it will attract much attention. But at the very least our Google SEO ranking will improve phenomenally and we may get more traffic that way. We are still 6th place on the google page rankings! I want us to be 2nd :D

small link on that page, but thats just the landing page. at some point I would expect them to put up a contact us page and/or a phorum link so that folks can come here to talk about PG ... the whole of the site looks to be down so I would imagine its all being redesigned finally.

On another note - how do you get the SEO number higher?
