R Amplifier Update

Post by MW3 »

Sorry for the delay. R amplifier production is underway I have posted pics.

R amplifiers are an excellent dollar per watt value and have one of the most complete feature set of any entry line amp on the market today.

Key features:

- Audio Precision Specification Testing
- High Level input with auto turn on
- Variable crossover filters
- LPL and RMD ports
- Unregulated Power Supplies/Bipolar Output Devices
- High current power and speaker terminals

Five amplifier models -

R250.1, R500.1, R1000.1: R250.1 ($180) and R500.1 ($250) are class A/B and make full power into 2 ohm. R1000.1 ($500) is class D and makes full power into 1 ohm.

R300.4 and R500.4: Are both class A/B, 50x4 and 75x4 that retail for $250 and $350.

Thanks for the update. The R amps look pretty damn stout, through and through. Hopefully they live up to the name.

I would love to get my hands on a pair of the 250.1s to try out (dual mono for stereo). At those prices I can almost afford to buy them myself!

I also LOVE the high-input auto-on... thats SWEET IMO.

Maybe its been a while since I bought entry level amps and they all have that now, but IMO thats the best idea ever for entry level amps... I just want to add an amp or two to my system, dont want to change my head unit... Love it.

So, since you put an RMD on the entry-level amps (as well as the others hopefully), can we infer that you will be putting out new displays to match?

I don't want to see any problems with the amps. China can and has been forced to produce quality, we gave them the technology and demanded it. What I do want to see are our neighbors at work and this country getting it's head out of it's ass.

There is still hope for US-Made LE amps or more according to Morgan...
