Ti Amps-Any reviews on them yet?

Post by csperl1 »

When can we expect a review of the new Ti line? How about shooting a pair off (Mono and a 4 channel) to Eric D. so he can dig into them and give us the lowdown? I am considering a pair of the 800.4's. Thanks.

Ha! Why not? He did a great review of the Xenon X100.4 a while back. Hmmm is it because YOU want to get your hands on those cream puffs to test first?

Kevin just sent out several Ti amplifiers for testing reviews.

That includes a Ti800.4 and S1000.1 to Eric for him to go through...

There is a blacked out rusty cargo van with no side windows and "free candy" written on the side in spray paint sitting down the street, is that you?

Wow! And you know Eric isn't going to sugar coat anything... he's the kind of person who will call it like he sees it. Let's hope he sees it positively!

Good luck, Morgan :D

I am pleased that this forum is held in such high regard by PG. Eric is not going to be swayed by magazine advertisements or endorsements, that's for sure!

Honestly this forum kicks ass. Back in the early 90's I would have KILLED to have the opportunity to speak directly with PG's marketing and engineering guys. I used to call and bend Larry Frederick's ear and I swear in a few 45 minute conversations I learned more about audio and physics than I could have ever learned reading Car Audio and Electronics.

This is the first line since the ZX series that I am actually excited about. Lets hope it reviews well! :P :P

HHHHAAAAA i know exactly what u mean man...Larry is a trip. he ends a conversation leaving u going huh? then u figure it out and be like damn..

I always loved his sarcastic aproach to answering a question.

"bull shit card" he had a card with a picture of bull shit in his pocket for special occasions

Exactly. I would have to sit down and think about it for a bit but his analogies would always make it understandable. Oh yeah I know about the bullshit card. Never one to sugarcoat.

I too am excited as hell * insert smiley w/boner* (cumon Tom, gotta make one) about PG letting one of our own have the privilege of testing. Says a lot about the company.

Now hurry up Eric, get them tested. I'm looking at a Ti600.4 to replace the ZX450 (Yes I'm keeping it), so a Ti800.4's review will be interesting indeed.

Thanks Morgan.
