Is it just me, or can you see a seam in the Route 66 Matt posted, where the M25 side meets the M44 side?

I see it as well. Two amps side by side???? but the mounting holes don't support that theory

I think you are correct, it is just something with the page. The M44 terminal is far too close to the line to be an actual seam in the amp.

I love the skewed self imposed logic on this thread. Essentially those with all the best stuff should be allowed to keep hoarding more and more all to themselves. Do you guys ever get to the point where you think you might have enough? A dozen examples of every item isn't enough. You just have to stop others getting anything too. Just hope you don't have a fire. All the PG eggs in one basket

I have been all over this company as well as the previous asking about the MPH-6300 and whatever happened to it and why? From what I can gather from my research the amp was never built, period. I know this "holy grail" keeps popping up on this forum but I honestly do not think it was ever produced. Not a proto (I was told a real protoype was too expensive to build at the time for an amp that was never going to be released anyway), maybe a dummy for the photo shoot. From the people I have talked to it was always a concept and a mareketing ploy but never was created. If I am wrong I would love to see a picture of it (not a magazine photo, a real photo) as if it does exist I would love to quite the people that told me its not true. Any takers?

I saw it listed in the list as a myth, so that why I asked to see a picture. Really more curosity than anything. If you actually own the amp from the picture, then post it. I don't know why posting a picture of it would be a big deal. Tell the story of how it came to be. I think it would be very interesting. Hey you guys might have been round and round on this issue as I am new to the boards but I am interested as this was something that was around when I began my car audio career. To be honest I was hoping it would show up with all the products that came with the PG aquisition.

sorry I don't own it and don't have pic anymore. that's why I said were you could ask for pics. I don't know the story behind it. just pg was selling it at the last sale for 5k
I would guess a amp at 5k was real. I offered 3k but didn't get it
I was told or read it cost about 24k to make and i also heard that it never worked so I don't know??????

if its rare or a possible myth the veterans here will know the truth or likely own it. just check out the ltd ed. registry here and the stash pics. they take pg fan to a new level in a good way.

Yeah, that last one looked photoshopped.
I'm kidding. I really expected more pictures though, being that there are so many people interested in this amps internal components and what it looks like. This is THE amplifier that PG created, so snap some more photos and share with us PG addicts! :D

I also think that it should be removed from the plexi board to get a real look at it..
heat sinks ect. I would hope a 100k amp would not be fastened with tape. 8)

It's been taken off the display board and now sits in the shipping coffin in my livingroom. Now that I have a decent camera, I'll snap some good shots of it........
