so far it looks like there MIGHT be 2-3 on here which is scary. If us, the true pg die-hards are not able to or going to then I am afraid pg might have done more harm then good IMO.

I wonder if they expect to sell out all 100 at that price? :hmm:

How does the "one" compare to other amps in this price range with the same or close ratings?

All PG would need is a little buzz about the one in the right circle and I'm sure there are more then 100 kids into the SPL scene who will raid Daddy's wallet for this monster.

Myself, I am adding to the budget to get one but I'm not to sure how I will add it to my build.

I've spent crazier money to just look at something and say I own it.

they need to offer a finance program.

But ah shit even with that I couldn't with the foreclosure last year. Maybe one day I will get to look at one.....

I felt the same way when we released this amp. I thought who is going to spend XXXX amount of cash on an amp. Ever since we have released the first review in PAS magazine we probably get 15 - 20 calls a day wanting to know price, where is it for sale, can they buy it direct etc... I am TOTALLY shocked at the amount of people that want this. I am old school so it is not something I would buy but it is a new day in car audio.

No doubt :( its almost 3 times as much as my Sunflower
I remember putting more money than this into my system back in 97 and I had only bought my car for $500. Hell, the alternator cost more than the car! So did the alarm. Just saying, cars are just vessels for transporting our stereos.

That being said, if I could find another car for $500, I'd get this with it instead of a brand new 1997 Range Rover.

if you can travel through time to get it when it is new, might cost a pretty penny.

oh, and in that R34 skyline, "The One" will be running 20 (yes, 20!) PG Ti12d's...

we have a PG retailer putting 2 of "the one" into an spl car, running a sub each..
There is only 1 installed at the moment, with another on the way..

does that big ole amp really only have 6 mounting holes? I can remember an alpine 1505 that snapped the 6 screws that held it up like that. Since then i have always made mounting flanges for my LE amps where the entire piece that runs down the side holds it rather then the 6 screws.

The fan cools the output filters, not the heat sink. BTW: Its impossible to thermal this amp!

The production version the plexi has some venting in the plexi for better airflow.

I think you saw one of the protos, it didn't have this.
