I'm in love, but for my needs I need 1000w @ 2 ohms, not 1 ohm. :( I might have to grab one for later.

Love it.

That is the Ti1600.5....

100 x 4 Class A/B four channel plus 1000 x 1 class D subwoofer channel.

It has all the crossovers you need HP/LP/BP. Yes you can even run tweeters of the front channels.

Gobs of power and headroom, especially on the subwoofer channel. Most 5 channels have a subwoofer channel that makes 300 to 400 watts, we wanted something that could really drive a set of large woofers.
Nicely done Morgan/PG! I'm glad to see that our suggestions and input did not fall on deaf ears. http://phoenixphorum.com/product-sugges ... 04-25.html
It's great to see a 5-channel amp in the lineup and kudos to PG for allowing the amplifier to run a component set actively!

Thanks for the positive response guys.

We really do listen to what people want especially on this forum

(Disclaimer: We cant make everyone happy, but we are not afraid to take chances that is what PG is all about).

Will we sell a ton of these? No, just like we didn't sell a ton of Ti900.7's or insert your favorite amplifier name here, but that is what makes this kind of amp great...

This amp has some serious power, there were no compromises made unlike most typical multi-channel designs. The customer who buys this kind of amp expects it to last a lifetime with killer performance and that is what we focused on...

its funny to think that your amps are one of the very few brands that tends to retain its $$$ value years after they are made...

Loving the sound of that.. Couple that with a Ti600.4 and you've got perfect power for a 3 way active front stage and sub!

I'll be keeping an eye out for this one in aus! ;)

I would like to see the dimensions on the Ti1600.5. It might be a viable solution for me rather than run 4 seperate amplifiers.

I would like to see the DD's add a +12v switched input, and then have jumpers so that we can select if the item comes on with the ignition, or the remote turn on.

Sorry guys things have been SUPER busy getting ready for CES and preparing for upcoming production of new products.

Yes, the above is a Slim Woofer available in 10s and 12s, we call this the SL series. We have put some serious time and effort into this woofer. Our goal was to make an affordable (less than $180usd MSRP) woofer that actually has some excellent excursion and power handling. The biggest complaint we hear is that most slim woofers don't HIT, unless you step up a really expensive model which is out of most customers price range. We also are using a hybrid basket that is stamped steel and a die cast aluminum spider spacer that acts as a heat sink to help us achieve better thermal power handling.

10 inch mounting depth - 3.6"
12 inch mounting depth - 4.0"

Specs:
• 25mm of Peak to Peak Excursion
• Dual 2 and 4 ohm Voice Coil Models
• One Piece Reinforced Injection Molded Cone
• Woven Tinsel Leads
• Vented Cone Neck Stabilizer
• Die Cast Aluminum Spider Spacer Heat Sink
• High Temperature OFC Copper Voice Coils
• Nickel Plated 12 Gauge Speaker Terminal
• Optimized for Small Sealed Enclosures
• Powder Coated Anti-Resonant Steel Basket
• 300w RMS - 600w Peak

I will update on all the new other items shortly give me a few days.

Very nice. I have never been a fan of slim woofers I've always had enough room for a single 12. But now that I have a kid and still want the family car to sound good, a slim woofer looks to be my best route. I also gotta give ya props on the 5 channel. I have been wanting some tri channel with big power and it looks to fit the bill better than anything I have seen.

That's pretty impressive. Xmax only 5mm short of the RSDC, but 2 inches thinner!

Do you have T/S parameters available?

So how would they compare to the JL slim subs? Those I've heard and was actually impressed.
