I managed to get my Ti800.4 to thermal. It was about 75F outside, and I drove home from work (~25 minutes) with the stereo on full. As I pulled into the driveway it shut off. So, up until about the last 15 seconds of the trip it was just fine.
This is not the first amp I have had shutdown as my install has very limited airflow. However, every amp I have ever used with a fan in it never shutdown in this install no matter the conditions.
I am thinking about getting a fan to give the amp some airflow.

Congrats. We made some tweaks to Ti800.4 to dramatically extend the playtime since I sent you that unit.
PM'd ya, got the perfect solution for you.
