looks ok but the sub doesn't move much? or not tha much vs other subs that handle big power ,not really a great show of what it can do ...............IMO

Really the old elite move like 3 inches this look like a base model sub with 400 watt to it. not a elite looking performace to me maybe you would need to get your eyes checked..lol

lol, I had read somewhere that a good what to check the travel was to actually get down and and put your eye on it, But stressed DO NOT PUT YOUR EYE DIRECTLY ON THE SUB FOR SAFETY REASONS ! Duh, lol . That's all I was Say'n

Maybe I should get my eyes checked, but in both of those videos the subs look like they are at their max, which would be pretty terrible to listen too. You can actually see the surround stretch out to its maximum at the outward stroke.
Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.

I know eric i was making a point the new elite make what 34mm and its showing less than 1/2?this does not make me want to spend the money on one...

That's what I wanted to know. Box size, ported (?Hz) or sealed, Amp = how much power.

pillow this is what im talking about if your going to show off a high end sub than show it doing better than a best buys sub? i think it will be a great sub but if i was to look at that you tube i would think twice before i would concider it

Both of those vids are open air... the Elite looks to be sealed. Major difference.

Sealed beating.

Ported beating.

Wall socket beating... Time count :)

Maybe use the "Bass Love" song that most people on Realm Of Excursion use/used. Should provide a good relative comparison.

I am all for killer subs! Bring it!

... You really want to impress me, put a Neo motor on it like the older TC Sounds 3HP. Cadillac it for the Elite line! :)
