Ti2 Monoblock Preview

Post by MW3 »

Guys,

We have been hard at work with lots of new products for this year, I will make an effort to update the products as they are released.

We just completed production on the Ti2 800.1 and Ti2 1300.1. They will be arriving in the USA by end of February/early March.

FEATURES:
- Ultra small footprints
- Balanced Differential Input
- Variable Phase Shifter from 0 to 180 degrees
- 24dB Low Pass Filter
- 48dB Subsonic Filter (yes 48dB thats not a typo)
- Detented Pots for exact crossover freq settings
- Clip Indicators
- Birth Certificates and Conservative Power Ratings

Attached are pics of the Ti2 800.1 for reference, also its AP measurement of RMS power at 1 ohm. The power is VERY conservative just as the Elite line.

The Ti2 800.1 does over 1150 watts RMS, 14.4v and 1% THD with overall efficiency around 80%.

You can check out more details in our 2013 catalog which can be downloaded here: http://www.phoenixgold.com/images/catal ... atalog.pdf

Fantastic! Morgan, would like to know if have you guys on PG been planning any 6 channel amp on Elites or Ti lines?
Im planning to get new PG gear over JL or Alpine to substitute my PG Xenons, but I would like to see something good to push a 3 way active plus 2 IDQ subs.
Under Construction:
Alpine INA-W910
Arc Audio PS8 (Optical Linked)
Amplifiers (Elites? PDX? HD's? Zapco?)
Focal KRX3 Running Active
2 Image Dynamics IDQ10v3

Actually before the Elite.5 landed I thought abou 2 Elite.4, 2 rear channels running at 1Ohm for subs and the other 6 channels running the 3 way actively, then Elite.5 landed and I thought in one plus Elite.2, and this way would give me more power and headroom almost all channels.
Im afraid because Im going to use Focal 3 way set, and as long as Ive seen they are not Hungry speakers as they are a little bit fragile... I would not like to overpower too much those things.
About the subwoofers, I really would like to play them with a good AB amplifier, so thats why Ive asked about its quality.

Short term we are focused on 5 channels, but we realize 6 channels are also becoming very popular/more application friendly in new cars.
