Ti2 800.1 PasMag Review

Post by MW3 »

http://www.pasmag.com/car-audio/reports ... -amplifier

Rated at 800w RMS x 1 at 1 ohm.

Measured power is 1230w RMS x 1 at 1 ohm.

I would say that is a conservative rating....

Can we get any photos of the internals?
Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

I saw the numbers on the 800.1 in the review, but what would the current draw of the 1300.1 be into a 2 ohm load? Surely the current draw of the 1300.1 would be less than that of the Elite.2 running 2 ohm bridged with a similar output. Based on the 20% under rating figure, the 1300.1 should make about 1100 watts into 2 ohm. Does that sound about right? I looked for a tech sheet like is available for the Elites and couldn't find it.

I'm trying to decide on an amp that can deliver 1000-1200 watts at 2 ohms, and the 1300.1 is certainly more space friendly.

Thanks!
Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.
