Am pretty sure they are not allow to post, because when i contacted AAMP for specific information they told me they didn't "receive it" when the company switched owners. Also made it perfectly clear that they are not affiliated with this forum.

pretty sure that officially they are not affiliated here. Yes morgan comes on from time/time to answer questions and of course when they want to drop new gear they come in but I would not expect my post count or time spent here to get any special treatment from them.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Affiliated or not, one would expect that they would be bright enough to realize that word of mouth starts somewhere. And seeing as this Phorum is linked to pg's main page. Maybe, just maybe, someone from pg would chime in regularly.

I still and alway will love almost everything pg has to offer.
But lately there service or lack there of has really turned me off of pg.
I have had seven elite subs now and three of them have been bad.
First one the coil split in half after only 15min. Second one was right out of the box with one coil not working.
And the third works ok but the surround is supper soft and half the thickness of my other subs surround.
After three week of talking to pg all they could say was that they don't service or repair any of their speakers. And even though they have made it near impossible to get new gear here in Canada, I didn't buy from an authorized dealer. ( I had members from this forum help me acquire most of my gear) they again said to bad so sad.
On top of that between Canadian to is dollars, plus shipping costs these cost $500 each to get.
If I knew that there was so many issues, I would have bought much better subs for similar price.

Granted the elite12d4's I have that do work, are simply amazing. They get down and handle a shit pile of power. And some of the cleanest low end I've ever owned.
Hopefully when I get my yet third replacement in the next week or so it will work well.

Sorry for the little rant. Had to let it out. :(

I read the board several times per week and answer the threads that apply. Not sure what the complaining is about.

Last year, we changed the entire middle portion of the line. Slim SXt subwoofers, new full range class D SX designs, and new SX woofers.

New product is always released in January. We rarely release any new product in the fall as its the tail end of the sales season.
