I have just read here: http://www.pasmag.com/car-audio/test-re ... ier-review
that Stephen Mantz (ZED Audio) collaborated with Phoenix Gold on the SX amplifiers. Since the Ti2 amplifiers also feature the same ADAPT technology, I assume, that Mr. Mantz also had his hands on the Ti2, too?

Can anybody tell us more?

That explains why ZED is now the repair spot for PG amps.

What what? Mantz? OMG. Seriously, he's a wizard. I've talked with him several times.

Makes me want to ask how much of him is in the Ti2's.... Almost all of the mantz amps I've heard that weren't built on too tight of a budget sounded very warm and mellow with the right source. So many amps I've played with can get loud or aggressive or sharp... Warm and mellow is harder, much harder.

Full Range Class D amplifiers can be complex on both a circuit and layout perspective.

Stephen works with us on amplifier projects from time to time. For example:

SD800.4
SD1100.5
SX800.4
SX1200.5
Ti2 1000.4
Ti2 1600.5

I wonder if anything like the old mantz quad bridging esx stuff could be done again or if it's held back by third party patents. It would certainly allow for far more load options. I'd love to see a ti3 2400.8? that was an 8 channel amp bridgeable down to 2 channels. Maybe 75x8 or 75x4 + 1200x1, or 150x4, or 150x2 + 1200x1, or 75x4 + 150x2... Etc
