Thinking of going all elite

I already have an elite 5 and I'm thinking of ditching my rsd12 and my dynaudio comps for an elite12 and 6.5s. I had plans to put volvo dyn 8s in my doors with the mw152 for midrange. If i do the elite I can sell my dyn collection of mw162,mmw152,md102,8s,andx252 andx362 passives and pay for everything. Any thoughts?

I pretty sure the elite comps don't stand up to the dynaudio stuff but I would be kinda cool for an all elite set up.

I wouldn't get rid of the Rsd12 either. It's a wonderful sounding sub, my favorite to date.

Is the .5 enough to run the sub? I have the 12d4.

According to Morgan yes I would get the dual 2 ohm one. At 1 ohm it makes about 1200w.

Mine didn't do as well as i had hoped, but i have d4's. So a 2ohm load. If you go with a d2 it will probably be a lot better.

I tried two subs @1 ohm load but the .5 just didn't have enough get up and go.
On a pair of 4-500 rms ti10d4's at 1 ohm was a whole different ball game.

I would also stick with the rsd12 and the dyno's.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately I'd have to trade someone. I already have the 4 ohm sub. Sorry for the thread hijack.
