I think i can make the spacer fit, im gonna buy some chemical metal and fill in around the spacer thenn drill holes to the screws.
When it comes to the angle i will put something under the spacer and fill the gap using compound, my next problem will be fitting the grills on the door cards its to big hole so i will cut out the original grills and glue the new on on its mount i think this will be the best option.

what you mentioned with metal plate would do great i think. use about 6 metal screws symmetrically to screw it on to door metal and put some hermetic betwen metal ring and door metal would do fine

Well im finished with the inside of the door and im almost done with the doorcard, on the inside of the door ther is a round steel beam its not big but i did not put dampening mats on.
I only got picture of doorcard now but i will post of the inside later, i have to order foam mats for the doorplate.

I just saw you mentioned you were going to cut the stock grills out and glue in the aftermarket. I can tell you from exp that even with the best glue that with the slamming of the door, or people bumping it that it will not last as long as you want too. if you can't get a screw or two in there I would reconsider cutting/glueing.

Hi, yes you are right i did not glue it and id did not use the old speaker rings as mount because it would leave a gap between the grills and doorcard.
I found that by using long screws i could mount them in the old speaker location, today im finishing the driver door.
I hoped i could get both front doors ready this weekend but it was alot of work finding out how i wanted it, i think the passenger side door will be alot faster as i know how to do it now

I connected the speaker on the left side up to the pioneer headunit and it sound great but i think i will have to move the mid speaker more out towards the grill as it sits to far from them, i will order some mdf rings and get some angel on them.
These are the best speakers i have owned and they sound soo much better then the foca165A1 i had in my other car, the sound is much clearer and they have much more punch in them.

I did not close the holes in the doorplate would it sound better if i closed of the holes, i could spot weld plates over and have mats over it but is it worth the work?.

hi, all the holes in the door must be sealed, but i dont seal them with damping mat. and other mat's. i do glass fiber shape a bit thicker, put the same meterials on it and screw it on to the door holes. It maches the sape of the doors. Why i do this? for have opportunity to change window glass, if i have problems with window glass regulator, or other problems inside the doors

Can i use plexi glass and have a seal in between the door and plexi glass, i can have some mats on top of the plexi glass if needed.

I want to build in a subwoofer in my rear seat, the seat got a opening to the trunk and in this opening i want to put one or two 6.5" subwoofer.
Is this possible to do, im thinking about building it on the back side of the opening so i still can close the armrest.€
Ill post a picture of the rear seat so you can see it, i was thinking about using the spare wheel compartement but my truk is closed of to the cabin.

I want to buy a phoenix gold sd600/1 to run the 6.5" subwoofer, i do not need a big subwoofer its just for better sound in the car and i still want to have room in my trunk.
I would love to hear what u guys think about my idea.

My other option is to have a plate in the opening behind the armrest an put a reflex pipe in the plate from the subwoofer.

6.5 woofer will not play good, i suggest you to go with 10 in sealed enclosure, ant mount it in the opening place in the back seat. i reapeat my self 6.5 will not do

I think you may have a point but will i get the sound in to the cabin with a sealed box, i dont even know the difference with an open and a closed box.
I have looked at different active subwoofers and a slim passive one from Rocford fosgate, maybe i should take the timed and build one i can get the mdf boards cut from my old workplace.

well all enclosures have theyr own specifics, like sealed box mostly used in sq installs, couse it can reproduct fast, accurat bass, that is not late with your acustics. Anyway sealed box is a type of box i would be using in quality setup. vented box can reproduce low bass, but it is not so fast, and not so accurat, but again its low low, but you can easily desrtroy your woofer with too much bass or bad adjustments. You have also band pass and orders of bandpass, you have free air, you have passive radiator, t-line (its type of vented), horn type (also vented)...

Almost done with the dampening mats in both doors now, im just waiting on mdf rings and ofcourse i forgot to order plexi glass but i will get some from the hardware store or i can use some thin wood boards to fill the holes in the doors.
Im gonna have the amp up front in the passenger fotwell or glove compartement im not sure on how i will do it yet, but i will find a way.

Bought these today and made templates of the holes in the door i got 4mm plates, i think i will use a soft rubbe seal and glue and dampening mats on top.
