the SAE was replaced with the SAZ. you can still find the SAE new though, or maybe even get a good deal from someone on the sundown forum. I like the idea of these amps, but i don't like the idea of having to load them at 1 ohm to get any decent type of wattage out of them.

Thanx for your answer, i agree with the fact that we will need 1 ohm to get full power is not what i want either but it looks like a desent brand.

These amps must have really taken off over the last couple years. It seems like just yesterday that guy was surfing our forum looking for ideas and feedback on his designs. I'm pretty sure there's no Sundown factory though, he's got to be using an asian build house.

He actually has three lines of amps. SAX, SAE, and SAZ.

SAX - multichannel
SAE - entry level monoblocks
SAZ - Top end monoblocks

I have two SAZ-3000d and they are friggin awesome. Check out the forum on soundsolutionsaudio, Jacob (sundown owner) is always on there posting and responding. Username is Sundownz. But if you ever need to ask him a one on one question you need to send him an email.

Hope this helps.

Two different lines, two different build houses, two different target audiences, both lines in production. The SAE line is planned to expand with supposedly smaller mono-blocks, maybe a larger 1800watt mono, and some A/B's I believe.

The SAZ line consists of the 1000D, 1500D, 2000D (almost here), 3500D (also almost here and replaced the 3000D).
