gain setting with DMM ? with filters enabled or disabled ?

Post by eyesofra »

some help needed again frens,
i read thru errin's write-up on gain setting with DMM.

IT's been of great help.
i've been adjusting my gains with the x-over and ssf filters enabled.

Is this correct or do i have to bypass the filters, adjust the gain ,then enable and get to the crossovers ?

pls help. Thanks again

If your SSF is below, and the LPF is above the frequency you tested it at (50 to 60Hz), then you will be fine. I think the SSF is set at 25, and you probably had your LPF well above 60 as well, so you should be good ;)
