i hope its about the flooring, but the trip sometimes was hard to hide it...lol
I thought morgan said last friday it would take a couple of days longer but this is wed now so to me thats a couple of days?

Here is the update!

Big power in a small package, CHECK!

1000 watts, 1 ohm stable Class D monoblock in the size of most 250 watt amplifiers.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to pick up a monoblock to match my other XS amps.

It doesn't look like those amps will thermal too easily with that heatsink. Beefy for sure. Thanks for the pics.

Good to see the power ratings stamped on the amplifiers are actually legitimate. PG lost 100 points with me once they started rating their low end gear with "Max" watts. I know it goes hand in hand with the market they were competing with, but in my mind PG was always about getting the rated power, and then some! You better be using RMS across the board... or ellseeeee

so is this a look or start of the new name for the amps?
who can start amp line names with S and R
I just hope they are not the way of Alpine with type r and type s
always hated that kinda naming

If those amps are both in the same lineup, I don't really like how they don't totally match. I have always thought the best setup is an amp for highs and a physically matching (looks) amp for the lows, which in this case you can't do that.

But, I cannot complain too much, as that much power in a small size is worth the compromise.

Any chance I can get my hands on one of the blank unpopulated boards when the amps start shipping?

and I dont know about the rest of the guys, but the message screened onto the board screams to me that YOU are thinking of US... that goes a long way... since thats what we all loved about PG back in the day, and havent seen for a long time.

Now thats what I am talking about. I believe that is part of the legacy behind PG, not just making money but having fun at the same time.
I cant remember if it was PG or not, but back in the day (mid 90's) I remember having an amp with a lot of funny little things screened onto the board in the different sections. Always thought that was a cool little touch, and it couldnt have increased cost much.

It also looks like fitting the bottom of that particular amp with a plexi panel would be simple.

Heck yeah it does... a pimp black board with sexy internals... and if I am seeing that correctly - thats not the high-end line either, that looks like the "foot" of the entry level line from the picture above it, which means even more sexyness to come

Wow, its kinda fun getting all excited about PG again... makes me feel like I am back in HS.

So far, AAMP seems to "get it"... thank god.

You're right, they were always labeled properly. The max ratings on the box, website, manuals, etc. put me off though.
