Lets stir the pot....

If we did a Ti multi-channel. 5,6,7 Channel.

What do you guys want?

Hmm... 7 Channel would be one for the "collectors edition"

The TI900.7 was one of the best one amp setup solution at it´s time. Still one of the most sought after multi channel amps over here in europe if u want a clean and top of the line multi channel install.

With most of the people going 3 way it would be enough to do a 6 channel i think. 4 way setups often ask for lots of modifications u got to do to your car as most of them are set and ready to go with a 3 way system from the factory.

I agree the Ti900.7 based "Limited Edition" would be highly desirable and sought after...

how about a ti 900.7 and a ti 1200.1 under a reactor shroud and call it THE POWER PLANT

Sounds even more cool!!

But I guess the price of that would be a killer...

Six channel. 4-channel (75x4 or 100x4 @ 4 ohms) with the ability to run active (x10 multiplier) and two channel (150x2 / 600x1 @ 4 ohms) for sub(s). All class A/B. Also, 24db/oct crossovers with detents, one power connector (like Roadster 66), and the ability to power all four channels with one set of RCA's. In my opinion, there is no real need for the seven channel amp. I know you can opt not to use it, but I think 99% of the time no one will use it for a center channel.

As a Ti900.7 owner and lover, I say go 6 channel. The 7th channel made sense back in the day when 5.1 was all the rage, but nobody seems to be running center channels anymore. If you do offer it, you should probably offer some sort of center channel processor as well. 75x4 + 150x2 @ 4 ohm would probably be perfect (bridgeable to 300x2 + 600w x 1 @ 4 ohm).

Alternatively a 1 ohm optimized class-D mono for the sub end to match the rest of your line, although the 6 channel would probably be much easier to engineer than a 5 channel with mixed amplifier topologies, and would be more versatile as well.

Come to think of it one of the things I didn't like about the 900.7 is that, despite the rear channels are A/B, the crossover doesn't allow you to go high pass. I was planning to use it to power my elite 6-1 front stage, 5-1 rear stage, and front 9Ms off the sub channel... fortunately this worked out since my deck could output a signal highpassed at 50Hz to the sub channels, which I then lowpassed at 250Hz for the 9Ms.

My favorite feature of the original Ti's was the ability to daisy chain the crossovers to run speakers active. It would be really cool if you could go full 3-way active with only one RCA run to the front, but I guess that is probably overkill for most people.

I could see a staggered 7-ch being nice, something that is like 75x4 for mid and tweet and then 150x 2 for midbass and then something for a sub channel that would do between 6-800 watts, each channel with its own power supply would be sweet but prob not realistic. I wouldnt care if the sub channel is class d. This would be a decent seller I think if you could get it in the hands of competitors in the SQ lanes, seems like everybody is running 3-way front plus sub nowadays.

Some thing like a TRU Super billet 8 would be nice, but for a reasonable price

5/6 channel amp - 100x4 + 1200x1.

sub channels stable to 1 ohm.

no crossover or anything of the sort in the amp - just a straight power plant

let us run it upside down with plexi - show that big b*tch off!

External crossover (MX3-esque) with a 10x for going active fronts and a subsonic filter for the sub outputs

a switch to be able to run the sub channel from the front/rear input or a separate sub-in.

a switch to be able to do input summing
