question about new ti subs

hey morgan or anyone else that has some play with these subs(the new ti 12s)
my friend wants to have me build him a system and he wants to use product that isnt really common here( PHOENIX GOLD)
so he was looking at a pair of rsdc comp 12s or the new Ti 12s
what are teh pros and cons of each since i havent heard neither.
he kinda likes the lower end of the bass spectrum but hes listened to my elite.
any info as far differences in sound and type of bass would be helpful.
