Question about power supply...

Post by onecrazy95civic »

I just bought a Battery charger-Power supply 75 amp by power source and would like to know if there is a special way to connect it or can you connect it anywhere you want, i.e. directly to the battery...??? Now I know it says "battery charger-power supply" but just want to make sure before hooking it up.

Brand/model/pic?

If it is a "battery charger" it will likely introduce noise as it is not designed to power the vehicle but to charge the battery. If you need an actual "power supply" let me know as I may be able to arrange something for you, no promises.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

Golden, that'll do.

Okay, you'll need to connect it via a solenoid and 4 gauge, connect the solenoid ign. wire to the + output of the supply, this will disconnect the device when not in use, and then all you need to do is carry an extension cord. The other option would be to wire in a PC174 under the car and on the power supply, and carry it with you.
