Cleaning Ti!

Post by phoenix_rising »

Quick question to anyone who can shed some light...

Just picked up a Ti elite sub thats obviously been stored out in the garage for quite a while and is pretty dirty, and would like to give it a full MOT but Obviously due to the nature of the Ti surfaces rusting i was 2nd guessing what to use to clean it its not started to rust yet (surprisingly)... Any ideas? I didnt want to agrivate it by getting it wet and prematurely starting off the oxidization. If theres something better out there id rather pick that up instead? anything good for cleaning the surround as well does anyone know? Any info would be great lads. Cheers.

I always thought the Ti D has an aluminium dust cover/cone.

2 other quick things...

I take it i can test the 3 x LED's are working via a 12volt battery?

And anyone ever compared the quality or SPL of the elite against a Diamond D9 or TDX? Just interested to hear experiences really...
