I found this at ROE, thought I'd share. Its a Voltage calculator for setting gains.

Cool! The formula is square root of amplifier output W * load Z

So if you wanted to know how many volts is 100W at 4 ohms its square root of 100*4 = 20V.

Heres a quesion, my x600.1 is rated at 600 watts, its putting out 824 of 4 ohms. Do i put 824 in to that formula?

Yes, actually wouldn't hurt to adjust lower. Like say 750-800. So that you don't max out the amp.

Quick turn around in here. Fired/hired. I need to branch out more on some of these topic aeas. Some I've NEVER looked at. :siren: I agree w/Avicjr. I'd set to no more than 800, depending on the sub/s power handeling.
