deq/pld combo

Post by joyride »

I read in the manual that you should not run a PLD with the DEQ. I was told that the DEQ is too prone to clipping or something along that line. My problem is that I once again obtained the worst engine noise you will ever hear. I tried out the PLD at its lowest level and very low volume and it solved my problem. Would keeping the sens on the PLD at low levels create problems? I dont think that I need to have a full 8v output to overcome this problem.

The DEQ does not play well with higher input voltages, as long as you are careful you should be okay.

Open the unit up and post the hand written Version number from the bios chips, please.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

I believe mine are 2.xxx. Are the 3.xxx the version that can utilize the DIN display?

Yes 3.xx can run the display, but I have yet to come across them.
