I need an amp to run 2- 12 rsdc in 2ohm in an sealed box 1.2 cu ft per sub. I know the ti600.2 has more power but would the 600.1 rsd be decent running it to or should i get something stronger.
The ti is class a/b and will draw more power (and sound better in my opinion)
The rsd is class d and will use less power.
If it was going in a trunk i would use the rsd as any sq lost from a class d amp wont be very noticeable
If you are running in a hatchback or have the back seat folded down i would go with the ti. If i am understanding you rite you will be running 2 12s with a total load of 2 ohms on the amp. The ti will do that, but it will pull alot of amps and will run hot
With 2 dual 2 ohm loads, you will have a final 2 ohms mono load. The RSD600.1 would be ideal for that load. The Ti600.2 is only designed for 4 ohms bridged, and would have a harder time on 2 ohms, getting hotter and drawing more current.
Go RSd I had a 600Ti and it was run at 2ohm's for sub duty and sucked a ton of power. I really like my RSd's that i have now. Large footprint but thats the only drawback.
screw car audio, I'd rather go fast....errr, wait a minute.
Man its hard trying to find an rsd 1200.1 for an decent price now i might get me the 600.1 or change brands of amps. Is the new soundstream tarantula tx 1300.1 any good i been eying that amp for an while now if i cant find any rsd 1200.
Just pick me up an rsd600.1 instead since i was just using an sealed box for my rsdc's. If i was to run it ported i would of got me something around 1000 watts and i couldn't see myself buying an different brand of amp since i been using phoenix gold for like 6 years now.

Good man!
I love my RSd's,
I have not had any issue's with any of my 3.....
Hard to hear any discernable difference between them and the ZX's
IMO

The 600.1 will be more than fine. You'd only be looking at a 3dB difference going to a 1200.1, but you would be straining your electrical system a lot more!
