Anybody recognise this amp

Post by gfunk_nz »

This amp is being sold as a PG, it looks like no PG I recognise, I was thinking it may be a sony or power acoustik, anybody have any thoughts. Who knows why the end plates and top have been removed.

Definately not a PG amp.
Check my buyer/seller ratings http://phoenixphorum.com/gridracer-vt4548.html

I have more PG stuff than one guy ever needs.

That looks too nice to be a Power Acoustik.

Same topic: I had a Pyramid PB1000 (via ampguts: http://ampguts.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=1549) between 1993 and 1995. It's so funny to compare the pictures of the circuit boards from that amp and the M44 and M25 I own now.

I've always wondered how much 4-ohm/1% THD power that PB1000 could really do.

During the time I owned that Pyramid, I was running six front speakers, three to a side, off the Kenwood tape deck and using the PB1000 for my two Pyle 12s. God, did that sound like shit.
