Blues audio

Post by JK »

Does anyone know much about these speakers? I can get what seems to be a pretty good deal on these speakers.. I hear they are like the best... From what I understand the 6 1/2's are to die for.. Please let me know if anyone has heard anything about them..
Thanks!!

I believe they are made by the crew that made old school linear power.

The original blues speakers used to made by stillwater designs/Credence. not sure who is building them now but back in they day they were alright.

Wow!!! now I know i'm old .... I had a box that is kinda hard to describe but it had 2-8's which were vented from behind and it was pushing a 10 in a push pull kinda deal inside the box. kinda a pseudo bandpass but it was also vented and it wailed hard on like 400 watts. i loved that box, think that was around 1991-92 and it was not cheap. It's the same logo so it should be good stuff. i would like to try out there comps. i say go for it, they seem to be a roots kinda crew small and want to make good stuff.
this means it's likely not cheap.
I read some more of the thread it was an isobaric box.

They have a forum on CA-F. There is mixed public opinion on the products, and a lot of debate on age of design and pricing of the products. I have not used them, so I cannot speak on them.

Damn!! I just remembered this topic and went to look for it and noticed it was moved here.. They are made in airazona. I spoke to the main guy several times.. He's calling me back tomorrow... I'm going to order several sets for sure.. I have a couple of buddies and they use these speakers. They say these by far are the best out there... I believe them... I'm going for it... The mids and highs are SUPOSE to be the best buy.. The say there 2 way set is better than focals 3 way.. He's working me a good deal but it's still not all that cheap... He's giving me a 1 time dealer cost deal on behalf of my buddies...

Blues Audio made a name for themselves in the early 90's, and was around for about 5 years then fell off the map for a long time. Alot of competitors in the south are using them to get trophy's. they are like DD in the early days. I have no doubt they are great speakers. they are out of my price rang ATM. i don't think it's possible for you to have heard of all the brands out there...... I think you were like 11-12 when they were in there heyday, maybe even younger.

I just got off the phone with ray.. He seems to be a great person. He knows his stuff.. I think this is what's been missing in the audio game.. I just bought a good amount of mids and highs.. Stryker! I got you a set of 6 1/2's.
