aftermarket battery question for civic --closed---

Post by kg1961 »

the honda civic has a stupid small stock batteries size

would you buy

kinetik khc1400
optima yellow top d51 or d51r
odyssey?

Im try to keep cost down
optima yellow top is in the $250 range
I can buy the kinetik for $260
I don't know in calgary who sells odyssey

I'm leaning towards the kinetick as i buy it local from the guy that i buy most of my gear as clarion sell them in canada list is $399-369cnd so I save just over a $100

in a year i can afford a h/o alt

let me know what you have used and like or disliked
I have used Optima had some like also have had 2 that were shit

I have not used them yet but I also have not heard anything bad about them. Now optima on the other hand like I said the past few years they have slipped.

The Kinetics are awesome, put one into my rx-7 and I could actually notice the difference in how my car responded really nice

my buddy runs a shop in calgary tom he is the owner or ara electronics clarion in canada sells them
so im going with the khc1400 as it fit the 2004 civic they are the biggest and strongest for honda small battery size
i buy them for 260 from the 399 list
free shipping so i can't complain. also clarion is selling a sound matting product im going to try
than my deck, blu tooth, front speaker the amp im trying for and battery will b from the same company 8)
than i would need a new sub but we will see

I can't decide what sizes to go with. Size isn't such a concern since I am moving them to the trunk.
