Who's making the WCC speakers?

Post by smgreen20 »

I like watching the West Coast Custom show on Velocity and I see they have their own "brand" of WCC speakers. After looking at them, they don't look to shabby and I know Ryan (owner of WCC) wouldn't put his name on just anything, so it leads me to ask, who makes them? What company/brand/line are they modeled after?

$64 on ebay, might not be a bad deal for a decent cheap set?

I'm not sure if anything has changed lately, but Orion was rebranding subs, speaks, and even amps for WCC.

You know Ryan would not put his name on just anything? Did you ever watch pimp my ride? I have seen behind the scenes pics of those cars and saw how they would not even sell for as much as a regular used car because of what they did to them. I thought at one time they were working with mtx but I would not expect much out of them other they a flashy name badge myself.....

I do installs on the side for fun and the extra $$, the people I do them for want cheap, but also good quality, but quality last (go figure) so I thought these might not be a bad deal.

honestly in my experience anytime someone re-badges stuff like this all you end up doing is paying a premium for what was more then likely that companies entry-line stuff that they maybe change a color here/there and add a shiney chrome badge to it. Diamond makes good stuff but I am willing to bet you can get the same products for less with out the shiney badge with some searching.
