12w6v2 on 1500-2000wrms?

Post by Bigred41291 »

Upgrading from the ti1500.1 to.the elite.1 and I was curious if you guys think they will hold up with the increase in power? Currently they are at one ohm so I'm squeezing the most I can out of the ti. I was just curious if 1500 watts each is asking a lil much? Any input will.be appreciated.

thanks but I was asking if they would survive on 1500watts arms or if I would be better off trying to find new subs that can handle the power of the new elite 1. Remember we are talking 3-4k watts total.

i have 1200 rms on a 13w6 and thats pushing it as 750 rms is what its rated for,i think on a 12w6 continuous power is 600 rms.

1500watts pet sub is killing it. I would go past 800watts. Buy another pair and you should be okay,.
