The only reason I devalue amps with caps changed is the countless amps I get to fix with caps poorly replaced, and boards damaged. I would prefer leaking caps any day over damaged boards and messy solder jobs.
Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

Anyway, I asked Dereck to test the amps, and take all the blame for it
I knew (and still know) what I was getting into in doing so, and if it were to be done again, I'd do it again ...
Care to share the dyno results with us?

Just watched this great vid again and noticed all the power measurements were done at 1kHz.
So prolly this does about the same as an MS-2125 x2 after all..

Glad to see itchy is taking care of em.

Itchy, if you get bored of them, I better be your first call to get them back.

If no one knows, I bought these like 8 years ago... kept them in the box in my closet for almost 6 years un touched...

Each to their own, different strokes for different folks.
Big D awesome job again on the dyno.
Itchy thanks for allowing this and sharing, as something so rare it's not likely that many would have the opportunity to see one of these amps (let alone in Australia) When are u coming for a visit? Have u got those stutter drives yet?
As for caps I'd much rather have a rare amp with caps replaced properly than a rare amp with a board destroyed by leaking caps, or worse with the likelihood of it being worthless. just my .02 cents
