Any of you guys tried out the R3 subs? I am thinking about replacing my old school solo baric s10d with a fresh R310d2. I am limited on mounting depth and the R3 is only 5" deep but has 30mm xmax. I also like the sensitivity is 90db. It would be installed in a 2500HD crew cab truck, under the rear seat, in a down-firing box. The solo baric I have in there now sounds pretty good but it maxes out too soon. Needs more. I have a ZX500 running at 4 ohms to keep things cool.
Thoughts?

If you take the rubber boot off the magnet of the Ti 10" it will come in around 5 3/4". I had a Ti 10" firing up under the seat of a Silverado Crew Cab.
I really don't think the R3 would be an upgrade for you. The SX subs are better than the R3's, but they are deeper than the Ti's.

Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.
