additional cyclone enclosure info req'd

Hi guys I'm sure this will open another can of worms, but here goes. Looking for additional info on enclosures for the cyclones. I know of the standard recommended for sealed and if the unit is inverted, but also in the manual mentions other enclosure designs and options available. I have spoken with Larry but looking to see if anyone here has other info as T/S parameters to utilise on a typical enclosure program aren't really gonna help . I have a Toyota Corolla Hatch to squeeze these into along with a truckload of other goodies :idiot: (Originally this system was going into a much roomier Toyota Prado  )
Thanks in advance

Not a lot of cyclone talk lately. I'd love one but since they rarely come up for sale, NAND when they do people as insane prices, I havnt had any chance to play with them. There's a few people on here running them but they don't seem to frequent these pages as much anymore.

What other info were you looking for? Dimensions for ported type of enclosure maybe? pG is kind of funny, in their manuals they seem to mention stuff that never came to fruition, like active crossovers and such. These other enclosure designs might be another example of this.

I would probably look a just one with some decent 7's or 8's for the higher sub duties, I would only maybe drop down to 2.5 ported, but you will want to tune it low anyway so your port length will only get longer the smaller you go in box size.

I only got to work with one myself. Built I think it was a 3.25 cu ft box and then we ended up adding a 10" to go with it and it was loud as hell...

Yeah I was gonna go with one but I figured I've got 2 so plan on using them both to around 50-55hz, bandpass the pair of 12's from 50ish up to around 70hz, then the front end take over. Only looking at this setup as I'm building SQL

I had one many years ago with a single 12" and it was nuts....so this build is a bit beyond nuts I guess lol. I know I can get super low in 2.5cu ft for each...but it's only a little Corolla hatch and space is tight I can get the space I need for both clones and the 2x12" and still access the spare tyre and have the amp rack there also (quite creative) also the battery rack and psc221 will be back there as well, not sure if I'll use the DEQ230 in this build
