To Frank or not to Frank...

Post by vwdude »

Ok so on my ms-2125 it was a no brainer, Frank it to match my FAS. Now I snagged an mx3i and I want to Frank that as well. The guy I got my FAS from disappeared before sending the match ax406 to me, so I figured a franked mx3i to match would be cool.

What's worrying me is they are so rare, do I want to take a white mx3i and have it franked? Am I ruining a piece of PG history?

Thoughts...

Really? I've been searching for one for 2 years. Is was maybe the second one I've seen for sale in that time.

Well either way, I agree. I feel better about having it franked now. Thanks.

Hold out and find a rough one to Frank... Keep the nice one as is.

Well like I said, I so rarely find them. I'd prefer the factory black, but there's no way I'm gonna find that. Besides, this one isnt so perfect.

I'll be sending it out Monday. [emoji851]

I can't say I would hold onto it like its an LE amp. There is not a huge ## of them out there but they can be found. I would not let it hold me back from customizing it.

Gotcha. Yea my thought exactly. I'm also thinking I want to replace the power light with a blue one. Just adds a modern touch to it.

I'm gone replace the power light with a blue LED. No more lighting though. I mean it's not like you can see inside anyways...
