anyone interested in new MS/MPS/MQ end plates?

Post by ttocs »

I am on the hunt for some mps/mq gear and came across a mq430 that needs some cosmetic work. Anyone else in the search for the end plates where the power/signal connections are and the back label side? If so put down what your looking for and the more we have the cheaper it is.

price is often the deciding factor. I will be down for at least one set and have a couple of others as well. Post what models you need done but it sounds like its a mix of them all so far.

I am the one that ttocs is referring to who can get them redone. Doing them in batches makes it cheaper since the powder coated charges a flat rate to do 1 piece of 30 pieces. The silk screened also takes time to set everything up and will be cheaper the more we get done. When I get a count of how many we can do at once (color dependent) then I can get the pricing together.

I'm talking about redoing your endplates rather than making new ones though.

I have laser cut MS endplates from both steel and stainless steel at my last job.

I can't make any promises, but I may be able to get more cut. I can ask my old boss about it, and see how much it would cost.

I personally would prefer to have a stainless endplate redone instead of a steel one, as it should last much longer (no rust).

that would be awesome. just remember that when you powder coat them they seem to last longer too. I believe the originals were painted, and the paint flaked from the edges that weren't prepped right, and the rest spread from there.

now polish the stainless and then print the graphics and that would look beautiful.
