Only thing that comes to mind is a MAC500. The specs are similar. Never seen anything like this before.

I bought it as soon as he lowered the price to $740. I knew that the bids would end up being in that ballpark anyway, so why wait?

The amp is rated at 200W x 2 /4ohms; 600 x 1 /4ohms. Possibly "High output" 2125, or a latest revision before they stopped the manufacturing run. Can't really find anything on google about it. From what I have read, the MAC500 is as close to this as it gets. I don't have the box in front of me at the moment.

The rail caps are 63v @ 6800uF and the transformers appear to have more windings than a typical 2125, but not as physically large at those in the 2250.

As usual the input caps need replacing, but that's ok. That means the PCB wasn't butchered in a previous life.

My name is James and new to the forum. I started collecting the MS series last year when doing research for a build for an E39 M5 using old school components. Class D China/Korea just doesn't pique my interest.

Welcome to the phorum. As far as i know the H stands for "Home Series" It was built for the PG enthusiasts that wanted to run their 8 Ohms home speakers with PG MS-amps.
It has more output than the standard MS2125 to get more out of it at 8 Ohms. A dealer here in Austria had 2 of these in a showroom running a pair of tannoy kensingtons.

Yes thanks for the info. This one is BNIB so I doubt it will see automotive use. I don't like scuffs, even around the screw holes (OCD). Home use? That might happen.

There was a thread on here a while back where I believe it was one of these amps that was missing an end plate. There was some debate and confusion about the identity of the amp whether it was a 2125, 2250, or MAC500. Looks exactly like this one.
