Class Action regarding capacitor prices

The only capacitors I have ever purchased were from DigiKey for repairing an M25, two ZX250's and a ZX-Ti500.4. I received a postcard about a $15m settlement against a capacitor manufacturer for price fixing of capacitors. I'm guessing digikey gave them my details (?). I certainly didn't sign up for this anywhere or anything, and having never bought capacitors before or after, this is the only thing that makes sense.

Given how few I purchased, I don't expect anything much from this, but thought I'd share.

You can register at www.capacitorsindirectcase.com

If anyone really wants, I can scan the post card and put it up here. It's got the usual stuff about you have to exclude yourself by the end of May, otherwise you're included. Lawyers will get max of about $2.5m etc.

I got that same card. Something about companies were working together to fix the price higher then the market price. Not sure if I will respond or not as 15 Million means the lawyers made out well but by the time it trickles down its rarely worth it.

Last time I checked the price of 4700uF 16V Panasonic caps, I noticed the price had doubled. Don't know If this is related to anything, just saying.
