If I was to make a sealed box for each of the xenon 12 I have
What happens if the box is let's say 8inch deep till I can get to the spare tire area
I want the subs inverted and to the back seat of my vw gti
And the 2 Amps closest to the back in a flush floor design
So the air space will be 2cub each but the shallow start will it effect the sound output kill lower hz? I'm not sure
Let me know

Say 8inch by 22 x2 than it will open up at the spare tire about 8inch away

oh heck I see you said that in the OP now. I have been considering a similar box myself with the sub inverted in the trunk but using the spare tire well for the majority of the space. I don't think it would be a problem if you have 8". I can't remember the rule for down firing boxes for how much space you need to leave between the sub and the floor but I thought it was no less then 1/3 the subs diameter and it seems like it would be about the same here. I have never done one though and it might be worth the time to try and find someone that has.

maybe try pm'ing whitenoise and see if he has made one. He is not on all that often but I think if you pm him it emails him. Would love for him to stop by as I think I saw that he finished JK's roadster?

He didn't work on the roadster.. I have 4 original 1st gen solo 12's.. 2 on each side of the trunk.. they are firing left and right in regular boxes.. not regular, but regular..

I think Scott's correct by saying 1/3.. I had a Plymouth laser when I was 19.. the speakers faced down into the floor and the ports faced up off of the back hatch.. I'd say there was a 6" gap inbetween the subs and the floor.. that system bangged so hard.. that was actually when I discovered PG MPS/MS amps.. I had a MPS2500 on the subs and 2 MS275's on the highs and mids.. one on the front and one on the rear..
