Remote for old school Phoenix Gold Bass Cube

Post by cjeffers84 »

I recently bought a bass cube from a seller on eBay. It was advertised with a remote but I didn’t receive one in the package. The seller pulled a fast one on me. Where can I get a remote? The unit is useless without it. Thanks

I'm still on here every now and again. For some reason the phorum quit alerting me of private messages.

I'm on Facebook more often as Scott mentioned. The PG classifieds group or my tech group. Feel free to pm me there and you will get a lot faster response.

I miss forums as well. FB is just too many millenials asking the same stuff they should have searched. I wonder how long they and this one have left

I asked Tom last year or maybe the year before if he was interested in my mirroring the phorum or selling the site to me. We had seen a few brief sporatic server outages and I thought the site might be in n danger. He assured me that he had no plans to close the phorum and he hasn't been aware of the server issues. They must have sorted it out because it quit happening around the same time.

I loathe Facebook, but apparently we are the minority. I used to be on this board for a few hours every day, now I doubt I make it for more than 10 minutes every other week...

A while back I started posting my projects and some repairs here again to see if it would spark some interest, but no dice. Maybe I'll start adding some content again. I have wire a few fun things in the works.

I have wondered as well. If it ever gets to the point of shutting down hopefully one of us will get the chance to continue it.

I think that I've spoken with him via Facebook. At least someone contacted me asking for 4 remotes.

The Email link for me on this phorum will email my shop address directly. It's the quickest way to reach me. After that either fb message or pm here.

I just ordered more parts for remotes, so we are still in production for now. It's become very difficult to reliably source the gain pot with the switch, but one of my distributors had them back in stock for now.
