Man I could not disagree more.... I have always found them to be one of the worst lookin myself. It just seems like they had some emo kid pic a design for it or something.

I agree, I think they're hideous.

If they resembled Han Solo when Jabba made him a piece of wall art......... They would have sold TONS of those amps.
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!

yea if they had come out with it then I am sure that they would have sold a bunch to all the star wars people. But otherwize I have never seen where I could fit it into an install in anything less then a hurse being driven by emos.

Finally got around to taking some pics of my "new to me" amp. Clarion APA4200. I've read that the APA2200, APA4200 and the APA4400 were all made by Macintosh. I went to open it up and was greeted with 2 boards somehow mounted right there!

you will LOVE that eq, I can't keep my fingers off of mine or my eyes off the lighted meters on it. if I were you I would recomend taking the covers off and hitting them with some flat clear to help protect them from the rust issues. I still like the gloss myself but to each his own.

if you are gonna do it, seriously give the gloss a try. If you don't like it just hit it with some 2k grit paper and you are back to a flat surface but the gloss really makes the grain in the metal pop and look sooo much newer/neater imo.
