Cyclone Help!

Hey All, need your help, just cleaning my Cyclone and little accident occured, the clamp was extreamly tight so we needed to yank rather hard to get the end cap off, unfortunatly when yanking the cap we also pulled the plus and minus cable from the driver assembly. Does it matter which is plus and which is minus from the drive unit??
