So we can either run it at 2 ohms or 8 ohms? Brian, did you try it at 2 ohms?

There ya go. I bet it would handle the 800w@2ohms as well.

Nope, the sub only comes in a DVC 4.

Denim might be making me a custom DVC 2/SVC 4 however :)
If the build house gets the coil's in they said they would on an upcoming shipment, there is a chance a few SVC4 coils for this driver might be on that.

oooh, and it's cheap at this moment, too. $150 IIRC.

Sorry, the lenses have priority right now for me.

Very nice conclusion too. Makes total sense, as with running on less power, it preformed for you as it was designed to do, clean response and well blending. I think the RSDC is a solid step up from the Dcon, as the Icon and RSDC I think are more comparable. Awesome work Brian, :)

Just use one of your existing boxes. If it's too big, chuck in some wood or foam. This isn't a permanent fixture of your install

Actually go ahead and drop it to Casey...as much as I want to do this...I have a friend who is actually going to help me redo my setup here really quick...probably sometime next week...so I probably will be spending some time with him working on that. I do appreciate you guys letting me have a shot....I just don't want to hold anyone else up anymore. Plus you had Harold and Brian test and run it thru the process. I'll let someone else go for it!

If it comes back around...then maybe on the backspin! :)

If not...thats the way it is.

Do you have a box you can lend these hosers Brian? Or should we ship it off to the C-masta?

i could let them use the same box...but that might be silly having a 3rd review in the same enclosure.

Hmm... that's probably fine, I think. The cars will come into play as well. Not to mention the degree of personal tastes and subwoofers they have previously run will all affect the outcomes.

If it's not a hassle, I think that's a good idea!

I have a box I can throw it in...But will be tied up for a little bit. Tomorrow and the next two weeks on my install...So if Brian wants to throw it to Errin first...and see how it goes around that corner when he's done...we can see where I am at after that!? as stated tho...I don't mind being skipped over. If things dont work out for me to test it...it's fine! I will live! :)
