Buyer Beware: ssims, sik6yamaha, highvoltage, rollinsolow

Post by stipud »

Always a good day when someone decides to buy ALL of your gear for sale...

http://phoenixphorum.com/alpine-dva-799 ... t8571.html
http://phoenixphorum.com/audiocontrol-6 ... t8581.html
http://phoenixphorum.com/alpine-cda-983 ... t8572.html
http://phoenixphorum.com/audiocontrol-e ... t8579.html

Shawn, Ssims, Highvoltage... whatever. Ssims and Highvoltage are the same person.

Let's see here,
- Posting from the same two IP addresses
- Registration one day apart
- Despite claiming to PM each other, no PMs were made
- Highvoltage's registration email address is [email protected]... and Ssims is [email protected]
- Ssims photobucket account has the same name as Highvoltage's email:
http://s182.photobucket.com/albums/x83/sik6yamaha/
- And I found this little page too:
http://en.netlog.com/sik6yamaha

Shawn Sims... ssims... makes sense to me.

So basically, you're busted Shawn. What gives with you selling gear to yourself? What possible reason could you have?

Yea that seems a little fishy. And once you do something like that we are all going to be skeptical.

A better response:

"I apologize as I am suffering from schizophrenia."

So why register 2 names within 2 days of each other? Did you plan on doing this? Like kg1961 just said why not just remove your for sale post or put sold of, god forbid, just tell us the truth that you changed your mind and decided not to sell?

Too many questions, not enough answers here........... :?

Regardless of the reason or lack thereof, at this point it is unlikely that anyone here is going to feel comfortable doing business with you now. For me, it raises questions that simply cannot be answered satisfactorily.

I say just too much time on your(his) hands... I can not think of any reason other than to maybe snow someone later on. KG1961, said it best.. just say, "hey I am not interested in selling anymore" and "I'll be taking it off the block for now"

The guy did something stupid and somewhat annoying, but it surely isn't worth stalking him over.

nah, and I dont have time (nor anyone one else on here i bet) to do stuff like that, as I said it would bring us to his level. But awfully peculiar as to your/his (ssims/highvoltage)s' intent??
